Madison – Family Lawyer

I am a Family Lawyer, and I care deeply about helping people move through separation and family law challenges with clarity and confidence, because I understand that these matters are rarely just legal issues. They affect your home, your finances, your children, and your sense of stability. That responsibility is not something I take lightly.

I completed my Bachelor of Laws with Honours at Griffith University, followed by a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice through the College of Law, after first obtaining a Diploma of Legal Services from TAFE Queensland. I have worked exclusively in family law throughout my legal career, beginning as a family law paralegal, where I developed a strong understanding of the legal and personal complexities that arise in separation matters. However, before immersing myself in the world of law, I worked as a chef, an experience that instilled discipline, resilience, and the ability to remain calm and focused in high pressure environments, qualities that continue to serve me well in practice. This background, combined with my legal training, shapes a practical and steady approach to family law.

Beyond qualifications, what matters most to me is how I show up for the people I represent: steady, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in helping them move forward with clarity and confidence.

As a mother, I understand how profoundly family decisions can shape not only the present but also the future. I know how important it is to feel heard when it comes to your children, your financial security, and the life you are rebuilding. That perspective informs the way I practise, with empathy and a pragmatic, strategic approach, and a clear focus on long term stability and sustainable resolutions.

I work across a broad range of family law matters, including parenting disputes, property settlements, financial agreements, and complex negotiations. Wherever possible, I aim to resolve matters constructively and without unnecessary conflict. However, I am confident appearing in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia when court intervention is required. When litigation becomes necessary, I approach it with preparation, focus, and a clear strategy, because in those moments, clarity and planning matter.

Although separation can feel destabilising, my aim is to help you regain your footing with practical advice and steady guidance, providing a pathway forward that makes sense for your life. Ultimately, this is not just about reaching an agreement or obtaining orders. It is about helping you move into your next chapter feeling informed, supported, and confident in the decisions you have made. Thank you.
