I’m a Family Lawyer and an Accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner. I know that reaching out to a family lawyer isn’t something most people ever plan to do. It often comes at a time when life feels upside down, uncertain, or incredibly emotional. If that’s where you are right now, I want you to know: I get it and I’m here to help guide you through.
From a young age, I’ve always been drawn to people’s stories. I grew up immersed in the performing arts, where I learned how powerful it can be to step into someone else’s shoes, to really understand what drives them, what challenges them, and what they need to move forward. That love for storytelling, combined with a fascination for justice and human relationships, naturally led me to family law. When I started my legal career, I spent my early years in chambers, working closely with barristers, watching them prepare, argue, and advocate. I loved the pace, the complexity, and the strategy. I couldn’t wait to get into court myself. I even started appearing in Court long before I was even admitted as a solicitor (with leave if the Court to do so, of course!).
I have now been a family lawyer for over 12 years. That early courtroom experience shaped me — and while I now guide most of my clients through respectful resolution processes outside of court, when court intervention is needed, I step in with strong, steady advocacy and a clear plan forward. What sets my approach apart is that I approach every family law matter with both a strategic and a human lens. I look at the legal issues, yes but also the emotional, relational and financial layers that sit beneath. I want to help you not just get through this process, but grow through it.
More than anything, I’m driven by the transformation I witness in the people I support. Watching clients regain their confidence, make thoughtful decisions, and move forward with strength that’s what makes this work deeply fulfilling. I want to help you make decisions you feel proud of, not just now, but years from now. People are layered. As such, their relationships, finances, family dynamics and emotions are all interconnected and meaningful solutions need to reflect that. I work with each client holistically to find a resolution that makes sense not just on paper, but in life. I look forward to learning what’s brought you here and helping you take the next step toward a resolution that reflects your values, your needs, and your life.
